A palace and a lots of beauty!
One of the most important buildings in Paris is undoubtedly the Palace of Versailles, which no visitor to Paris wants to miss, so we have prepared a great visit for you.
The duration of the visit is about 5 hours and don’t forget to come with a 100% charged phone battery!
The Palace of Versailles (in French: Château de Versailles) is a complex of palaces in the city of Versailles near Paris, known as the largest royal palaces in the world. It was under the supervision of Charles Loburn.
This palace was formerly located in a village of the same name near Paris, but today this village and the palace are considered a suburb of Paris. From 1682 to 1789, when the royal family was forced to move to Paris by revolutionaries, this palace was the residence and government court of the kings of France.
This palace has been selected as one of the world heritage sites by UNESCO. The Treaty of Versailles, which ended World War I, was signed in this palace.
Versailles has the largest collection of gardens and green spaces ever built in the world. Among these gardens, waterways, ponds, fountains and beautiful sculptures are designed. All these parts are designed by Andre Lunter.
The design of the green space is in a way that brings to mind a very wide and endless view. The gardens are also located in the southern part of the palace, which provides a wonderful view from the balcony of the royal palace.
All these spaces are located on both sides of the central canal of Versailles. Huge fountains and pools have appeared on the four sides of this channel, some of which are world famous, such as the Apollo pool or the Latona pool.
